......whilst January comes a rushing on in, the plans for Morocco are still a little sketchy. Ems & I have our route mapped but little else, but hey that's where the fun lies. My focus has instead been spent ensuring I've a skeleton route worked out for my RTW ticket.
The African & South American plans have thus progressed & look like this
I'm climbing Mt Kilimanjaro Feb 16th before hooking back up with Ems in Cape Town pre our South Eastern African Adventure. I'll fly out to Nairobi Feb 14th, grab a connection bus to Arusha from the airport & arrive in Tanzania the day before we set off for a 10 day expedition( Kili tour link)
I'll then fly down to Cape Town via Jo'burg on Feb 26th & explore Southern SA for 4 weeks.
Following our mammoth 31 day cross country adventure ( South East African Adventure) we fly out from J'burg on May 2nd heading for Oz & 2 weeks R&R. Ems stays in Oz to teach whilst I hop across the Pacific to Santiago in Chile & reposition up to Lima to start the following trip
From May 18th Lima to Le Paz
From June 10thLe Paz to Santiago
From July 1st Santiago to Buenos Aires
I'd rather have broken up each stage with more rest but the tour timings have meant I've less time in Oz than I'd wanted & jump from one 21 day tour to another 18 dayer in quick succession. C'est la vie!
Adventures wrap up in BUENOS AIRES 18th July.

Day 1 - Do I or don't I get out of bed? That is the question!
"Greetings from sunny Putney
where all is not as it seems!!!"
Thanks to the guys at Fox for the great send off evening in Waxy's, always nice to start with a double cheeky sneaky....
This week's started suitably slowly. I've filled the time catching up; catching up with friends, sleep & anchient - must do's!
I meet up with Ems to plan our route & now have a more accurate first 6 month plan. We'll explore Morocco & Africa together before she heads to Oz in May & I stay in Cape Town. Morocco is in the bag with Africa stage 1 taking shape from Nairobi to Jo'bury overland. Africa stage 2 (cape town) still fairly fluid but I'm thinking I'll base myself there for at least 4-5 weeks.
More to come.....
